One download, then it opens.

Surya installs on your own computer and runs there. No terminal, no configuration, nothing to set up afterwards. It asks you what you're building, connects to your Claude account, and starts.

You'll need a Claude subscription.

Surya does its work through your own Claude account, which is what keeps it affordable: a $20 Claude subscription does work that would cost several times that metered. Pro is fine to start. Surya opens Claude in your browser once during setup so you can approve the connection, and never sees your password.

Surya is free for 14 days. After that it's NZ$30 a month. Everything you make stays yours and stays readable either way.

What to expect when you run it.

Windows will warn you. You'll see a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen saying the publisher is unknown. That's because we haven't bought a code signing certificate yet, not because anything is wrong with the download. Click More info, then Run anyway. We'd rather tell you than have you wonder.

Windows only, for now. The Mac build runs, but it isn't packaged as something you can install yet, so we aren't handing it out. If you're on a Mac, email us and we'll tell you the day it's ready. We'd rather say that than ship you something that needs a terminal to start.
